Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to her irresistible electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano voice and has a talent for writing emotional songs with positive lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as the artful independent music. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she started preparing for the debut album.
