Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired through the shadows she observed in the grasses of trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out to develop a technique which did not depict an object as a two-dimensional picture. The object has been transformed into its own reproduction, and the surface takes on the artist's interpretation. This works best when dealing with living objects or objects that can be perishable such as fruits or people. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting however the photograph is left. Since the painting and photographic techniques are coordinated so closely it creates the trompe-l'oeil effect that creates the illusion of 3D appears only at specific places, for example the region around the eyes and the hair. Meade is also able to integrate her painted models within the 3D space that surrounds the models. Their interaction and the created environment is possible. The lines between performance, photography, installation and painting is thus broken.
