Lis Wehl was born on September 19, 1961, in America she is an author as well as a former legal expert for Fox News.
Her previous position was as assistant professor of Law in the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File, with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs along with the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and grew up in Yakima located in Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985, and an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as she was a US attorney in the United States. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. Between 1995 and 2001, she was a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
