Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne with three other siblings. At the age of 17, she was divorced when her parents divorc e. Additional financial problems came about the event that their company went into bankruptcy. Financial problems are exacerbated by her anorexia and bulimia. Gossow has been very honest regarding her decision to quit ARCH Enemy's band as their vocalist. She explained, "There's a place and the right time for all things." The first time I began was in the year 1991. My joy in doing it began to fade. After a while, I realized that I could not be a fool anymore, but instead step down. The group's initial frontman was Johan Liiva, who was eventually substituted by German vocalist Angela Gossow. The song You're the voice was first recorded in 1986 by Australian singer John Farnham. It became popular not just in Australia however, but also in Ireland as well as the UK.
