Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and was also the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics when she was when she was six years old during a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next eleven years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Two years later, she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles stood out for her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficulty of her routines across the four events she competed in such as vault, uneven bars and the balance beam.
